Well, we DID IT, we bit the bullet and opened a warehouse close to home- Finally!!! We've been in North Salt Lake, Denver & Tremonton (what were we thinking?!) After much deliberation and searching, we found a spot about 8 minutes from our home. Eight minutes includes the 25 mph drive down the l o n g hill all the way across the tracks and straight to the front door- LOVE IT!! We are creating a store by building a rather large, very long, wall to separate the warehouse side from the retail side. We are in an industrial area, so we are hoping, crossing fingers that people will make their way out to see us. Wish us luck- we need it! We are super excited and hope that we will become an asset to our community. We have SO much to do!! Come see us anytime, we LOVE visitors!! Also, if anyone knows of cheap shelving, reception furniture etc; Please let us know. We don't mind used.
The kids are still doing wonderfully, keeping up in school, with great reports from their t
eachers. Bo, however has been recovering from bronchitis. Last week he ended up taking the entire week off. With the piggy flu taking over here in Cache Valley, he is considered 'high risk' due to his sports asthma. A mom never wants to hear that, but our doc suggested allowing him time to recover before sending him out to battle the swine. Man, will I be glad when this gunk is Gone!!
Sometimes kids surprise you, by actually listening to your advice. In our case, Donovon has decided on applying to U of U, going to an in state college first, he will then apply to out of state colleges later- phew!! He re-took the ACT on Saturday, he is hoping to get a 34. The boy already has a 32, we'll let you know his results. Kya got a cell phone, mom is relieved our home phone is not ringing every 3 minutes. I KNOW I wasn't that bad at age 10! Did I mention she likes to text- a lot. Jade's cast is off- yippee, now if we can only convince her she really can use her recently healed arm we'l
l be set. All in all, life is good! We sure do miss everyone and look forward to seeing you during the holidays!
