Happy Fall Y'all

Goodbye to a fantastic summer, the Jenson house had an exeptional time!! Between Bear Lake, Hot Springs, Lagoon, Circus, Camping, family visits & Tournaments (to name a few) we managed to sqeeze every last bit out of summer we could and now we are enjoying the beauty that fall brings. How I love the crisp air, changing leaves and the fall aromas. You will always find the windows and doors open in our home this time of year. I look forward to the apple orchard, pumpkin patch, corn mazes & cute cardi-coats. I will soon be making homemade chicken noodle soup, Steve's chili & delish almond pumpkin bars, mmmmm!

The quickly changing leaves that fall brings has me thinking about how quickly our family changes. One minute we are sporting our tans & enjoying the beach then, before you know it, the blowing wind brings colorful leaves, an extra blanket and sweaters to the closet. Just like the almost sudden arrival of fall, quickly changing is our family. When I first met Donovon, he was 7. With a blink of an eye, Donovon is applying to Cornell & Penn State and we are receiving the College Board's Advanced Placement Program "AP SCHOLAR WITH HONOR" award and he's being told he qualifies for the USU Presidential Scholarship. He worked all summer to buy his own car -----------seen here--------------->
and has been wondering "What am I going to do with my life?" We are proud of the amazing (and responsible) young man he has grown into and especially glad he no longer aspires to meet a cougar & be a 'gold digga'. From Pokemon to Penn State, these are the ever changing colorful days of our lives.

Sugar Daddy announced he will be taking me back to Mexico the day after Thanksgiving for a week (just me, mwhaw). He's my hero. But since I'm the Pres of our company, doesn't that technically make me the "Sugar Momma"? Ha!
< -----------------------------here's my hero, isn't he cute!! ------->

Kids are doing great, enjoying school, soccer, dance, singing & hanging out with their friends. Me, I've been busy sewing up a storm & contemplating opening an Etsy store to sell my goodies. Steve's looking for a new warehouse which may include a bookstore too! I'll keep you posted. Love ya all!

O' Crapy Day

Day started off great, looking forward to lunch with friends, Jade is feeling better & looking forward to watching Donovon's soccer game in the evening. THEN...

Driving home from Maceys. The major road that you take to get to our house has been under construction for weeks now. Which leaves a long, long drive through residential. Speed Limit 20, double yellow lines.

Got stuck behind a tractor pulling a load of, what is that smell, oh my goodness, what is that flying-I think it's, it's POO! Stomach begins churning. Can't pass tractor (double yellow line). Poo flung off this delightful tractors wheel and hit my grill which gets stuck inside grill. It's 90 degrees outside, maximizing the fragrance, warming up that poo as if in a ginormous scentsy jar. The a.c. blows that warm, outdoorsy, rich, cow-poo scentsy brick, directly into my face. There is no escape. Hurry! Grab something, anything, find empty soda cup. Throw-up. A little barf gets on my knee. Grab napkin to clean it up. Napkin rips. Get a little puke on my fingers. Throw-up again. I hate tractors that pull poo!

Get to my friends house, receive an unknown call. I don't answer. I'm at lunch with friends. Get another unknown call, still I don't answer. Why should I? I'm recovering and having a great time with my friends. Finally get a text from the dear husband. "Jenn answer your phone, Jades been hurt!" I answer.

Get to school, poor baby's eyes are puffy and so is her wrist. The principle has turned her scarf into a make-shift sling and filled a cleaning glove with ice. ((hugs to the P-man)) *Let me insert here, I took Jade to the Dr Monday, he told us she had Strep, so I kept her home for a couple days. I did NOT want her to go back that day- call it mothers intuition. But I caved to those big brown eyes & sweet little pleads. Called Dr, since her fever is nill & she's feeling better, he gives her the green light. I reluctantly take her late and headed to Maceys...*

Get to Insta Care, not so instant. 1 hour later we Finally see a doctor. He tells her "Please don't be #4, we've had 3 other kids in today with broken wrists." Takes her x-ray, walks into room "Hello #4!" Eye yie yie!!

O' Crappy Day!

And We're Here!

Here in all our glory, we have finally done it- we are officially "bloggers"! I hope this doesn't die with most of my other projects, but I think it will be fun. We'll see...

Please let me know if you can get to our blog. I would love to see your blogs also, so I invite you create one, its quite simple and fun :) We all live so far away, it would be a quick and easy way to keep in touch.

Love you all ~ Jenn
